Adam Aldrich is a trial lawyer and business counsel who represents companies, owners, investors, and lenders in high-stakes commercial and real estate matters. Since 2008, he has built a first-chair litigation practice in Colorado’s state and federal courts alongside a transactional and outside general counsel practice. Clients get one advisor who can structure a deal and, if necessary, try the case when it turns into a dispute.
Adam’s clients range from founder-led and family-owned companies to regional and national enterprises in manufacturing, aviation, construction, technology, and real estate. Before practicing law, he worked in franchise compliance and development for a real estate franchise company and a bank holding company, and he brings that operational perspective to the legal and business risks his clients face.
Litigation and Dispute Resolution
Adam has tried cases to verdict as lead counsel in contract disputes, partnership and shareholder disputes, antitrust claims, residential and commercial construction defect claims, employment claims, business torts, collection actions, and real estate disputes involving leasing, disclosure, title, and easements. He appears in state and federal trial courts, the U.S. Bankruptcy Court, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals, and he represents clients in arbitration and mediation. His results include defense verdicts with attorney fee awards, summary adjudication of federal claims, and injunction rulings that drove early resolution.
Outside General Counsel and Transactions
Adam serves as outside general counsel to private companies that need experienced commercial counsel without a full in-house legal team, and as personal counsel to high-net-worth individuals. He advises on entity formation and governance, partnership and ownership arrangements, asset protection, due diligence, commercial contracts, executive and employment agreements, protection of confidential information, and risk management.
His real estate practice covers commercial acquisitions and dispositions, commercial and residential leasing, easements and rights-of-way, construction contracts, financing and hard-money lending, loan workouts, and foreclosures.

Adam writes and speaks regularly on Colorado real estate and commercial law. His articles appear in The Colorado Lawyer, and he has presented the legislative update at the Colorado Bar Association Real Estate Symposium.
